Reiki has begun to gain notability in the medical community outside of small private practices.
Prominent hospitals including Mayo Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, Johns Hopkins, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Penn Medicine, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Yale Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, Hartford Hospital and many others all have Reiki Programs available for their patients. Some of these hospitals even have Reiki sessions available for the patient's families as well.
Reiki is also starting to gain traction in addiction rehabilitation facilities.
